The pistol is built out of technic bricks, a lot of 4 by 3 plates that are included in the collectable minifig bags, and rubber bands. The gun has a removable magazine, a working slide, and trigger. The profile is a bit large but works out in the end.

Building Process

I started building this when I realized I had a ton of rubber bands lying around, as well as a giant half-broken technic crane truck that wasn’t being used. So I scrapped the truck for parts and started construction on the lower receiver. Then I started experimenting with how to build the slide and ultimately ended up choosing a design using tiles on the top of two 1×10 bricks and a 1×4 brick. Also note that I included the trademark Glock 17 style fiber optic sights. Additionally, during this process I experimented with rubber band strength to see which rubber bands would work where. There were some difficulties trying to keep everything together and strong, as you can see from the red piece on the side.

Well, I hope you enjoyed seeing my Lego technic ‘Glock’ pistol MOC. I really enjoyed building it and I think it turned out well.

Goodbye for now, see you in the next post.
